   Wow, so many different opinions on the same movie... such movies are often really interesting.
   
   This one really appealed to me for several reasons. The element of mystery as well as the beautiful visual style and the importance of certain colors made it very interesting. Great soundtrack, too.
   
   

   
   After watching the whole movie and getting to know the secrets - although the villagers decided to stick to their ways in the end - I also consider this a beautiful way to show that suffering is a part of life and hiding from the world is not the solution and just causes different problems.
   

   
   
   I also loved the actors - Sigourney Weaver, Bryce Dallas Howard, Joaquín Phoenix and Adrien Brody were amazing, but the whole ensemble was wonderful. 9 years 7 months ago
