A beautiful film, with added poignancy in father and son playing father and son. I cried nearly all of the way through - but don't let that deter you! A job very well done by Brat Packer Estevez and the illustrious Mr Sheen. Watch it (with tissue to hand!). 12 years 1 month ago -

I probably shouldn't complain about this film for being sentimental and having churches and crucifixes looming over it, as that is what I expected. However, the Way is littered with lamentable dialogue, mediocre performances, and atrocious camerawork and editing which don't even do justice to the otherwise beautiful scenery. I suppose this may be more appealing to Catholic baby boomers, as my mother seemed to enjoy it quite a bit, but I found it hard to sit through. 10 years 3 months ago
