One of my favorite silent films i've seen so far, not only that this is a very early emotion-packed western, it is also a western centered around a women in the west, quite a unique theme, if you ask me. Lilian Gish's brilliant performance combined with thrilling plot twists make this an timeless classic!

Anyone else had a crush on Lilian Gish? Sjöström is the master!

imdb claims 95 minutes.
Link (mod edit: dead link removed) is approx 75 minutes, which is in-line with the TCM print of 79 min.

This is much better than The Big Parade, but neither of them are the best silent films. There are lots of better ones, including Korkarlen (The Phantom Carriage) directed by Victor Sjostrom (Seastrom), who also directed The Wind.

@ Azzuman: try The Big Parade. It's the only silent movie that equals this one, I guess

The background music in the Vimeo version can be used in Guantanamo Bay, just saying.
