Despite being nearly 30 years old, shot in the Philippines, and not made by Indonesians, I still think this is THE movie about Indonesia. Hits really close to home.

Not knowing anything about the subject matter, I was totally bored. I'll take the word of everyone else that it's a great movie. But for me, I could barely get through the whole thing.

Great movie that tells about communists' coup in Indonesia from the perspective of foreign journalists.
Indonesian actors and backgrounds are lacking.
