It's fine. It's not great. It's not terrible. It's just there. Bit of fun. Interesting visuals. It just feels ... empty.

I just want to point out that Thor's armor looked like it was picked up at a Halloween costume shop.

Really wanted to like this, but it was dullifying in the extreme and did not hold my attention at all. Jane is such a boring character, she has practically no personality at all. Wish there would've been more of Valkyrie instead. Might not bother watching any more Thor movies after this one.

After Ragnarok I was kind of curious if the Thor movies were going to turn into the film equivalent of that silly family member that nobody in the family can take seriously anymore, and yeah... I think that's now a thing. Marvel is known for its interjecting humor into nearly every nook and cranny but the god of thunder just seems to be the new repository of truckloads of all of Marvel's gags. We've come a long way since the original film in 2011, and not for the better.

Christian Bale does what he can with a rather lackluster villain. I don't know, but I tend to struggle investing myself into any Marvel offering when the villain's arc is so simple and bare bones (felt the same way with Dr. Strange 2.) In both instances the villains were just "you know, they aren't really bad people, they're just very misunderstood" and I can cetainly do without that kind of rationalization. If this whole Phase Four of Marvel Studios didn't produce an insane amount of "Marvel fatigue" then I'd be pretty shocked.

The goats were funny the first time, after that...

Thor is always entertaining. Charismatic bad guy.

Are people just spamming downvotes to every comment on this movie? Positive or negative every comment has a ton of downvotes. Expected a little better from those on this site

I don't know, it worked for me. Not as great as Ragnarok, but still one of the better recent Marvel movies.

This feels like a standup comedy special where the comedian is trying to get as many jokes as he can in the timeslot, sadly most of them just don't hit it, I think only laughed twice during the whole movie. It's weird because I really liked What we do in the shadows and Our Flag Means Death. But this one didn't make me laugh.

The good thing about this movie is that you can put it in the background and kinda pay attention but kinda not, and you probably won't miss anything important

Liked the camera wiek, good 'attempts" with the CGI: some good some not so good. Not much peril or story, the humour elements are mainly annoying

The four Guns n Roses songs are the best but it feels like it's needed to boost the film

Very enjoyable.

Tries a million things, fails some but lands plenty. It's peak wacky creativity and if you can't get away with that in a comic book movie, why even bother?

Apart from the armour and the bloody goat sounds, it delivered the goods in terms of cinematics, set-pieces and kick ass

I loved Ragnarok, but this was awful.

What a waste…

Revel in its inconsequential-ness. Fun Thor movie without all the MCU baggage.

A great movie! Just as good as Ragnarok. Can't wait for the next one, hope Taika returns for that one as well. Loved it to pieces, and the soundtrack … Lots of love from me.

Also great to see Natalie Portman back again. I've always been fond of "Fem-Thor". A great comic book series. And at the end I teared up. I really hoped she would survive. But on the other hand, now maybe Thor can follow the mythology and go ahead and marry Sif instead so we can get Magne and Trud up in this comic business …

And Crowe was an amazing Zeus. Also nice to see some more LBQT+ in the MCU, with both Korg and Valkyrie. It's a good start, just like the Loki series and Eternals was.

Thor is becoming the greatest comedian in the Marvel Universe, jokes flies here and there all around. Quite Thor-like Thor movie overall, not fantastic but not disappointing too.
