You know a superhero comedy has failed when you didn't even once blow any air out of your nose during the whole movie and all the action is boring as shit.
Melissa McCarthy plays the same character in every movie, which means she's always unlikable. Octavia Spencer's performance was just horrible, it was almost like she was sleepwalking during the whole movie. She could also have been on very heavy pain medication, who knows. The super hero costumes were boring, as were the powers. Why didn't they try to have any fun with this? It is a comedy after all. The only very faint bright spot in the movie was Jason Bateman. This movie is incedibly dumb and boring, don't waste your time like I did. 1 year 11 months ago -
