WIth all the earmarks of a Tarantino script, "True Romance" is a fun ride with an incredible cast, and while it should be largely forgettable and lacks the potent stylistic punch of Tarantino's flair behind the camera, there is something to it that makes you want to watch. Perhaps it's the oddly energetic music, the carefree cuteness of Patricia Arquette , the dialogue, or the cavalcade of talented actors who grace the screen to deliver it.

Lacking in depth, but a fun ride.

It's fun, but nothing more. A couple awesome scenes pull it up though. (sicilian scene, alabama kick ass etc) but for me it doesn't deserve any more than 7/10

Everytime I watch this movie it moves higher up on my list of favorites. Definitely my favorite Tarantino film. It's so cool. It's so cool. It's so cool.

Love it! Tarantino's dialogue is like fucked up poetry and the ending is just wonderfully chaotic.

Very good movie, love the Elvis scenes and the Sicilian one. Only thing I could fault was slightly overlong

I don't quite get all the raving comments. It's a bit too much macho bullshit for me, devoid of depth and story. Not my cup of tea.

After many years you might think you will not remember much of this film - but then you get these five seconds with „True Romance“ written in shiny blue letters against the dark view of Detroit and Hans Zimmer‘s „You‘re so cool“ theme - and a voice in the back of your head will say: I know this movie.

A sweet romance written by Tarantino (if you can imagine that), but directed with gusto by the more action-oriented Tony Scott.

Tarentino HAS done a cut of this movie. I fell in love with the original cut, but it is available for you anti-chronology fans.

Tarantino's best. Tony Scott injects the heart that most QT-directed movies lack and makes it feel like a fairy tale romance but with all the QT mad-cap plot, pacing and dialogue which we love so much.

If I had a single complaint, it’s that there is an Aerosmith song in it. Luckily, it was cancelled out by the Burl Ives song.
