   I had to read the book in middle school (no, it wasn't any less vulgar or sexual. That's Dutch middle school for you) so I knew the plot going in. Because of that it didn't move me as much, but it's still an amazing film. At once hilarious, sad, uncomfortable and brilliant. Great great movie. Shows what Paul Verhoeven does when he's not forced to stick to censorship regulations 4 years 1 month ago
