I honestly can't remember watching a movie where I laughed harder than this one. It's so awkward, I mean holy vampires playing baseball level of awkward. It's not so much the acting that is subpar (Pattinson in particular can certainly act), it's the dialog that is oftentimes as clear as mud. There are so many instances where characters are speaking to each other as if entire sentences in the script were just skipped over. Not only that, but the body language of both Stewart and Pattinson is incoherent and rarely matches the jumble of lines they are trying to deliver. It's not nearly as bad as the mountains of negativity fired at it but it was certainly good for buckets of unintentional comedy. I honestly have no regrets.

I can't find any redeeming qualities about this series whatsoever. The acting is horrible. The plot is laughable. The direction is uninspired. This is designed for an audience that knows nothing about film making. I'm not not really sure how anyone finds this entertaining. This could be the worst movie franchise of all- time.

I enjoyed this more than Hardwicke's earlier Thirteen, probably because the message is rendered more palatable when smothered in genre sauce. Like Thirteen, it's a story about a girl whose intimate friendship careers her life off the path of the regular kids'. And when I say 'intimate' I mean as intimate as one can get without, y'know, doing it. Which reminds me, I need to work on my smoldering stare, because when I do it, I get pepper sprayed.

It's one of those movies that you're kind of expected to see because everyone's seen it but I found the romance way too cheesy, and Kristen Stewart's acting very unconvincing; her face hardly ever displayed emotions. I would not recommend this movie to anyone, unless you want to see how a movie should not be done.

i feel surprised when i watched it. it was really THE WORST movie i have ever seen. the plot sucks, acting sucks, OST sucks, everything really sucks. i've watched it and i can't realize why it became so popular, really! and we aren't talking about low budget productions as yeti or similar. this movie is THE shit. awful.
