Complete utter shit when they go and change the fact that it was the British who captured the Engima machine, not the US.
" The fictitious plot attracted substantial criticism since, in reality, it was British personnel from HMS Bulldog who first captured a naval Enigma machine (from U-110 in the North Atlantic in May 1941), months before the United States had even entered the war. The anger over the inaccuracies even reached the British Parliament, where Prime Minister Tony Blair stated that the film was an "affront" to British sailors." 9 years 11 months ago -

Story obviously isn't accurate, but actually quite enjoyed the film for its entertainment vale. The text at the end of the film before the credits begin clearly list what naval Enigma machines got captured in the war, as well as who by, evening crediting HMS Bulldog with the first capture as well. To the best of my knowledge nowhere in the film did it state this was the first Enigma machine to be captured either!
It feels like people complaining didn't even bother to watch the film properly or read the text at the end of the film... 6 years 9 months ago -
