Not a very good movie. Several over-the-top performances by actors who just want to play either totally goofy/class clown or just angry, especially the coach. They just come off as annoying and unlikable characters. There are some funny parts, but not many. What I did find unique and interesting is that the entire movie takes place during one single game. I can’t think of another baseball movie that is like that. And I mean, from the first scene to the last. (Sans some quick flashback scenes/montage at the end). 5 years 2 months ago
