I've learned a very critical thing from this movie: I never should watch Western movies, ever!
I got so bored that i could not finish the movie, so it took me a couple of days to reach the end of it.
Nevetheless, at the moment it's imdb rating is 8.4!
I did enjoy watching it, it had a few good moments, but I cant see the greatness in it (I find Ned and Little Bill the most believable characters). For some reason, it felt like a quite cheap movie.
This was a pretty cool western, beautifully shot with some good acting. I was surprised it was so highly rated, maybe i missed something but it seemed like quite a simple story. Basically Clint Eastwood being his character from Leone's Westerns while being older and apparently nothing like his past. You can;t help but support Clint's character even though he's hardly the good guy. There wasn't much wrong with the film itself i just felt like it didn't have that same quality the older Westerns have. It's slow throughout the movie till the end which has a small climax you could see coming from a mile away.
It's a slow movie, but I never got tired of it. One of the best westerns I've ever seen, but that doesn't say much, since I haven't seen that many of them.
