   Cozy but also a little melancholy as there are a lot of setbacks young Astrid gets to experience. Beautiful environments in both Denmark, Stockholm and Småland. Somewhat slow in the middle of the narrator's tempo, sometimes I think you could have used the scissors and cut down a couple of scenes as the film is almost 2 hours long. Alba August does the lead role very well. Yet

   you become glad towards the end when you have to interpret it as the boy Lars finally get along well in a beautiful Sweden with an accepting family even though mom and dad (with, among other things, a big age difference we can assume) can not "be" together.
