A product of its time. The calculated screenplay is more in love with structure than human emotion. The worst part is the "walking out on the speech" cliche. Good performances though.
Surprisingly boring, extremely cliche. Nothing new, nothing artistic, nothing special, nothing funny. I am shocked to see such a mediocre movie got high attention. A clear avoid!
Jason Reitman's most mature work to date, about a man whose job is to fire others, and the joys of not being tied down to anything. I loved it, and while Vera Farmiga and (especially) Anna Kendrick were excellent in it, I give props to George Clooney as well for his underplayed performance. I love the bittersweet and ambiguous ending.
Good movie, George Clooney was great in his role, I not realy knew what to expect from this movie, at the beggining i was not liking the character of Clooney, but at the end I ended liking him.
I really liked the ending of the movie, better than I was expecting.
