The film begins with a nice, humorous tone. And it finds it's way back to that tone in the end. But in between, nothing interesting happens. Therefore, most of the time, this feels like a half hearted road movie.

Out of the three main characters, we only get to know one of them. It's probably just as well - I didn't really feel like getting acquainted with the others. What's more: there are no interesting side characters, which is crucial to a road movie. It doesn't help that the overall acting is very poor.

Clearly not a film for the superhero and exploding things set. Nothing explodes in this film except for a head gasket and that's just blown, so not really even close.

The acting is fine, the three main characters are quite believable and the filmmakers have done an excellent job recreating an era long since passed into history. Thankfully. It's a quiet little movie that says more in silence, glances, and how we treat each other than all the others that pound away with a headstrong message. But by today's standards, the masses won't find it entertaining.

A mi, me gusta mucho. Mas que algo 'big budget' de Hollywood.

But what do I know? I just like films about people. Real people. Or, at least, people who seem real to me. Where the real superpowers are kindness, compassion, and empathy.
