I had no expectations when i watched this, and I was blown away. A must-see for fans of realistic war-movies that focuses on the psychological aspects on war, not the shootings and explotions. I also recomend "A Man Escaped" wich reminded me much about this movie: slow-paced and beautiful. 14 years 1 month ago -

Incredible. The acting, cinematography, pacing and story telling are all top notch. Despite being quite slow and having little in the way of war film 'action' it easily held my interest throughout and the ending is so stark and dramatic it stays with you for days.
One of the best war films, on par with "Come and See" 10 years 10 months ago
