Having rewatched both Wall Street movies back to back, I think it's only fair to say that the first one is very good, a classic tale from the rampant high rolling financial elite wolf packs of the 80's. Great performances from the Sheens, Douglas and Stamp, with Hannah as a meaningless fling tossed in the mix.
The sequel however, is a lackluster slug that never takes off, despite fine performances from LaBeouf and Langella.
Douglas and Mulligan sleepwalked through their roles. Fun cameo from Charlie Sheen as Gekko and Fox meet again by random chance, after some 15 years! 11 years 9 months ago -
