Watu Wote: All of Us is a 22 minute Oscar nominee for Best Live Action Short.22 minutes is the perfect length for this short. It takes place on the border of Somalia and Kenya in the midst of an intense conflict between Muslims and Christians. The story focuses on a single incident on a bus ride.
The film's message is ESSENTIAL in today's society. There are good Christians. There are bad Christians. There are good Muslims. There are bad Muslims. They show or talk about each one of these groups.
The exchange between the terrorists and the bus passengers turns from tense to heartwarming. I cannot get over the fact that this is a student's graduation project.
