Very good. Watched it because of The Lives of Others. If you like that, you're in for a treat. Not as good mind. However, enjoyable.

Overall pretty good - some moments stood out as over the top cringey/kitschy, case in point: - the Down-Syndrome girl telling the nurse "I like you", before being gassed - we get it, it's fucked up.
- She telling him "your paintings will be our children", after finding out she's been made infertile ... little more subtlety, perhaps?
- The Joseph Beuys character dramatically setting posters on fire in the class room ...

Pretty good watch on the whole, if a little too long/on the nose at times. Nice Cinematography over long stretches.
Final Grade: B-
