One of the worst films i've ever seen. Battlefield Earth levels of badness.

I didn't think it was that bad. I mean it definitely wasn't good, and it tried so hard to be better and more meaningful than it was. But I thought it was nice and cute, though still not a good movie.

My favourite things must've been the horse (obviously), some of the dialogue around the horse, the second scene between Will Smith and Russell Crowe, and Colin Farrell's accent.

Oh, much worse than Battlefield Earth I think. In fact, likely the worst film I've ever paid to see on the big screen.

This movie may not have the best acting, the most believable film effects and overuses the whole cheap battle between Good and Evil. You have to give the movie credit for it`s grasping story as well as some fabulous and philosophical monologues. The original score for the movie by Hanz zimmer is really tremendous and sets the tone during the movie. Overall it`s a quite bad movie technically speaking but if you are able to look past that, you might end up loving it. It`s a love/hate kind of a movie, it`s worth a shot ;)

I thought this was going to be a modern version of Shakespeare's The Winter's tale. I found out it wasn't. It was entertaining though. I love stories about hope.

Russell Crowe was my favourite part of this film, paying homage to several of his previous roles. He channelled the baffling obsessiveness of Javert, the rugged brutishness of Bud White in LA Confidential (also displaying a touching throwback to James Cromwell's wonderful Irish accent), and the hard-headedness of Jim Braddock in Cinderella Man.

A must see for all Crowe fans.
