A pleasant surprise. Got a free pre-screening of this movie, and didn't expect much. Interesting movie which talks about something I didn't know was a thing. Shows a side of second world war I didn't know anything about, not many movies made about what the rich went through. Overall a decent movie with good acting and a great cast. 8 years 7 months ago -
Jashezilla
Normally when given a movie in class to write an essay on, you tend to start to hate that movie with a passion. But with Woman in Gold I can actually truthfully say that I enjoyed it and re-watching it about a hundred times actually made me liked it more and more. Interesting story about something people wouldn't really care about, and oddly makes people care about it. Ryan Reynolds was absolutely fantastic playing Randy and the relationship with his character and Helen Mirren's character made the whole thing hilarious. Well worth a watch even if you don't tend to like dramas, more of a thriller in my books. 7 years 5 months ago -
