HD photograph of Spain's working class suburban youngsters. The plot may not be the best, but it's the characters that make the film engaging, Their conversations, their clothes, the music they listen to, the places where they hang around, their interests, their accent, their expressions, could not have been depicted more accurately.Veronica Echegui is fantastic in the main role. In real life she is a sofisticated, classy woman, so watching her behaving as a chav is very impressing.
It's a pity that Bigas Luna left us so soon and did not have the chance to make some more great films.
