On Amazon Prime (for now?), and I had never heard of it before stumbling upon the title in the Amazon interface. "Younger and Younger" is not a great film but, wow, I'm only the sixth check? It deserves better than that. Directed by Percy Adlon, it has a similar tone to his indie hit "Bagdad Cafe." Another case of "magic" elevating a humdrum environment, except now it's public-storage units rather than a diner. The fantasy arrives with the elegant main character (Donald Sutherland), who delusionally runs his storage facility as if he's the greeter at a posh yacht club. And look at the rest of the cast! Brendan Fraser, Julie Delpy, Linda Hunt and Sally Kellerman. It wasn't until a delayed late scene between Sutherland and Kellerman that it dawned on me they both were in the original "M*A*S*H*." 2 years 8 months ago
