I find it a bit strange that the documentary, talking about and building op to her naming her abuser, does not at any point mention when she/they decided to make a documentary about it. As she must have done so when they began filming, and not mentioning it kind of ruins the trustworthiness of the build up of the narrative, which is a shame. The narrative being spoiler.
at the same time a lot og the dovumenraty is according to IMDb staged, i.e. the FBI interview, as there is no case apparently. this seams as a strange way to make a documemtary.

very interesting insight into the not so talked about parts of the internet, and how politics moved online. must see if you're into that kind of thing. did he end up with a conspiracy of his own, or did he solve the mystery? make your own interpretation, but at least do it informed.

Not something you binge, but definitely worth watching. The cinematography is amazing, well acted and interesting characters.

First of all. Why isn't there an official list of films with the best scores, or most important scores?
Secondly the movie shows respect for the often forgotten art of scoring, the sexy music scoring, and that is nice.

Muppets will be muppets. Much darker than anticipated. Tim Curry is always a blast.

Earring72s comment is a bit old now, as the series have gone on through more seasons. The voice actor is still the same. The narrator and the whole editing tries to be funny, it doesn't always work. But it's nice to get some behind the scene of popular culture bluckbusters.

For movie geeks like I expect most people on icheckmovies to be, this is an interesting view on how transsexuals are, and especially have been, represented on the big screen. Their struggle with usually being represented as psychotic killers, or someone being killed and why this is a problem, is hard to argue against. I see no reason not to watch it. You don't have to agree with all of the points of the movie or the people interviewed and there opinions, but knowing them, will only bring more nuance to the debate about gender in society.

Both entertaining and it gives something to reflect upon. It puts some nuances of the often very one-sided stories of terrorists without glorifying them.

Thousands of movies and series have commented on Systematic racism, but in Small Axe, Steve McQueen steps away from the victim role, and the constant blaming. Somehow throughout this series of movies, you end up feeling uplifted and positive afterwards. Told through the Caribien British community, it's Beautifully filmed and beautifully told. Watch it.

A not so thorough history lesson. Fairly entertaining. In my perspective, it's a to much an American perspective, to black/white, but nuances is not very 2021, so i guess that's fine.

2d characters. The songs makes it watcheble. Things get a bit better in the second half. Not bad, just not good. I did make we want to learn a bit about Motown and the rest of the not so used potential of the inspiration behind the setting, so that's something.

appreciate his honesty. but i find his comment about people being happy, not helping the world, a bit strange. As if climbing a mountain, because it'll make you feel happy does. The philosophy that life "it's about performance", fits well with the American dream though. But that the movie leaves space to agree or disagree with the man, is it's biggest strength. You might think his a hero, a nutcase or egocentric, but he's definitely human.

A not so special special, but a special show. This is more a behind the scenes, kind of thing. Nothing bad with that, but not so special.

It was nice for a change, to see a kind-of court drama, played outside the states for a change.

Fantastic soundtrack, and a solid and quite different story. I have a feeling that this is a film will have a long and beautiful life.

An interesting and inspiring insight in a very creative and technological innovative workforce. A little glorification of disney at the same time, so don't watch it for a critical view on a big corporation, but with an interest in creative work with a humungus budget.

Meh... as far the first two seasons goes, some good moments. maybe 1/4 of the episodes are completely irrelevant. 1/4 are excellent. The acting for many of the single episode characters and a few of the regular are sadly horrible.
But hey, much better than the Ray- trilogy.

"stab me with this knife, then I'll stab you with mine. Know what i mean eh? Nudge nudge" gooddamn 80's movies. If you can't make up jokes that'll spice up the plot, this movie is not for you. If you can, have fun.
