A sequel only by name really. In terms of following up on the events of the first movie (which I really enjoyed) it falls flat on its face.

Some aspects of it were decent, and overall it passes as a watchable movie. I know that it is leeching off of the success of the original.

I would have really preferred another first-person cam type of movie, but any sequel would feel unnecessary.

Anyway, if you liked the first, you probably won't like this. If you didn't like the first, then you would probably have a better chance of liking this instead.

Good up until the terrible ending.

I really enjoyed it; I didn't expect it to creep me out as much as it did. The ending was already spoiled to me, but that had no influence on my opinion of the movie.

I don't think there's much of a middle opinion on this one though; you either like it, or you don't.

I'm glad it was the former for me.

Nice little suspense/horror movie. I was expecting something completely different from it since I only read a brief synopsis that gave me the wrong impression. Worth a watch.

Oneironaut

Powerful. Probably the war movie that has had the biggest impact on me.

Hilariously bad. Also features one of the most infamous lines in movie history; we had to rewind it a few times just to be sure that we heard it right.

Feels totally different from the rest of the series, not that that is a bad thing. This gets quite a lot of hate, but I enjoyed it, and the dark-not-campy Krueger was cool.

Found it entertaining enough, worth a watch.

Really enjoyed it up until the horrific '90s effects kicked in towards the end.

A better adaptation of the book, at least that's what fans and King himself says. Personally, I haven't gotten around to watching Kubrick's version yet (not a big fan of his), but this movie/TV series freaked me out.

Not a horror favourite of mine, but it did establish one hell of a horror icon and laid the foundation for a sometimes-good-sometimes-bad franchise.

Clive Barker sure has one twisted imagination; I'll have to get around to reading his book that Hellraiser is based on.

They did a good job with the whole premise, and Reynolds carried it well, but it did not entertain me in the slightest.

Not too great, then again some idiot did spoil the ending for me before I watched it.

Watched it with friends and made fun of it the whole way through, but it was kind of good at parts. Monster was unique from what I remember.

Thought it was brilliant. People are really divided on this one though.

The whole similar movie thing always tends to happen.

I'm torn between this and A Bug's Life, both being great films. Actually, I'm not going to bother choosing and just appreciate them equally.

All star voice cast here and was very fun to watch.

Had a nice animation and was touching at parts, but I didn't find it to be particularly amazing. Soundtrack seemed a little off as well.

Pretty much the same movie, not that that is a bad thing. Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy are excellent together.

Good sequel in some ways, but falls down in comparison to the first. Didn't like how they handled some reoccurring characters, and the english actors were atrocious, almost making parts unwatchable. Don't think I could take a rewatch.

Still, I would like a third movie.

A lot of people coming across as snobs in here.

If you're looking for a good kung-fu movie with likeable characters, then give this a watch.

Thought it was really good until Emma Stone's character showed up. And then the terrible teen romance followed.

Hated the lead character (with and without the mask) and it was dull to watch.

One of my best cinema experiences, visuals blew me away. However, at some stages it was boring.

Not that I feel the need to defend it or anything, but something that jumps out to me as less original than this movie's story is the group of losers who feel the need to throw around words of wisdom such as "dances with smurfs" over and over again.

We get it. It's very similar to other movies out there. Shut up.

I liked it. Good atmosphere and the characters were portrayed well, but a problem that I had was that I couldn't focus on specific people because it kept jumping between them so often.

More of a tense, creepy movie as opposed to one full of scares; felt like a better version of Deathwatch.
