Didn't reach my expectations; thought I was in for a real creepy movie. Sure, some of it had a good vibe to it, and I liked most of the characters, but it felt flat.

And I got lost in the second half due to boredom, unfortunately.

Oneironaut

Forgettable and predictable entry to the genre.

Also demonstrated one of those things that I hate about the identity of the killer, but you could still see through it.

Destroyed by the ending, but that's not to say that the rest of the movie was that good.

I don't like Emma Stone.

Good movie, but I felt that the length could have been cut down a bit.

Enjoyed it despite not seeing it as a funny movie (not one laugh, but I did appreciate the humour in everything).

The cast was excellent, but it was just lacking comedy.

Good werewolf flick, likeable characters too.

Wasn't straight up werewolf lore either which I thought was interesting.

Pretty good, had a "The Thing" vibe to it.

Didn't like Telly Savalas in it though, good thing he wasn't in it much.

Getting some mixed reactions here, but I liked this one a lot.

Pretty good. Lingered a little too long in the middle act, and the film ran on for 2 hours when it could have done with finishing earlier, but I enjoyed it.

Enjoyed it quite a bit, and even though there was more going on it than the first, I think that the first was still better.

Wackier story, but I didn't like the inclusion of the annoying trope character (added absolutely nothing) and another infuriating movie trope that I cannot stand.

Bad? What's wrong with you people?

I loved it. It's crazy, but not really horror (well I guess in the '80s sense, it kind of is). Actually, one ridiculous scene got a HUGE scare out of me and I couldn't help but laugh after I got my heart back in the correct rhythm.

All in all, it's a comedy, and the lead was great and carried the role very well. I haven't seen him around in very many movies.

I didn't really know what I was getting into before seeing this, but it turned out to be a great watch (especially in a full cinema).

Heavy to watch, some nasty scenes without too much disbelief, and it doesn't really lose its momentum.

Thumbs up, definitely.

Strange and really good, particularly enjoyed certain shots. I was kind of conflicted over the soundtrack at times; good music but it kind of didn't fit in at times, then my opinion on it completely changed.

It was good to see Donald Pleasence around as a supporting character.

Didn't really know how it would play out, but I don't think you could have guessed it!

Thought it was pretty good. Price is as good as ever and it's filmed very nicely.

Thought it was funny to read afterwards that a cast member was dubbed over due to their accent (never even noticed).

Compared to the abomination of an entry, and series killer, Alien 3, I kind of enjoyed Resurrection.

Shallow, yes, but entertaining. Especially liked the underwater sequence.

Even though I only consider the first two to be canon (like how I treat the Terminator series), I would watch this one again.

Decent enough, though the tales lacked impact and one in particular could have even been removed.

Asylum felt a lot better than the later From Beyond the Grave (another horror anthology with Peter Cushing in it).

The final segment, whilst interesting, was let down by a lack of good practical effects. If it had some of the movie magic of the '80s that part could have packed a punch, but instead came across as laughable.

Really liked the soundtrack and it wasn't afraid to hit hard with the violence.

However, it felt kind of hollow and lacking in places, but it delivered well in some scenes. Also, not enough driving.

Didn't think it was as great as it was made out to be. Sure, I was curious about the finale, but I cared about nothing else that was going on.

Also disagree with a particular scene that was added to just stir up a discussion amongst fans - really unnecessary.

Not too bad - decent 80s horror.

Going against the well thought out feedback already presented, I actually enjoyed this one.

It had a really creepy atmosphere and a few good scares, but I'll admit that the ending was a little lackluster.

There was a kind of original aspect to the haunted place which I thought was interesting.

All right, getting down to it, Carnival of Souls is overrated. Sure it had a slight creep factor yadda yadda, but it felt like it was a chore to sit through.

Plus, what were they thinking when they chose to put that sleaze across the hall in the movie? So unnecessary.
