Yeah René Laloux is brilliant. For those of you who can read French, there is a wonderful book on Laloux by Fabrice Blin.

Watching this solidifies my dislike for the Czech new wave. I only like Loves of A Blonde and Ucho.

I actually like the Czech touch better when it is diluted in the American movies of Forman and Passer.

The same goes for Rhum, I only like it in Pinã Coladas.

Oh, and how the hell is this a horror film?

I hope this "short" disappears shortly.

One of the shittiest shorts I've ever seen, highly laughable and full of lame gravitas. Give this piece of shit a 1 on IMDB.

This list stops at 1977. And is not a "cult" list.

Did you look at the rest of the list, Flamingo Kid is actually one of the ones I do agree with.

Damn right, Dr Death Proof, and a guy gets his balls destroyed by a chainsaw. Classic.

Some of the most excruciating dialogue, ever.

And shouldn't be, even if it was a good film.

You can buy a dvd here (very expensive though)

If anybody does, could they post it on youtube or something.

I once saw 2001 on a giant screen in a new 70 mm print. (That was the way it was shot.)

And I can say that it was one of the major cinematic experiences of my life. One of the few flawless films in my opinion. It goes beyond like or dislike for me.

@boulderman, considering the small percentage of "his selections" you've actually seen, I would suggest you wait to make that statement.

Yeah well put Monty, I'm sick of all these crappy movies turning up on these lists.

The most watchable Makavejev. Which, in my opinion, is not saying much.

Well for Stuck on You, that sole crazy guy has company. I love it. Don't ask me why.
