Delightful. And I feel like Indian.

It's not Hard Knocks but it's still entertaining! A 4.3 rating is very unfair imo. A fun and enlightening insight into how the AFL works - also it helps if you like Kiss.

The run time definitely put me off watching this for a while. Thankfully I watched it now and it's fantastic. The music scenes are not western by any means and might be considered slightly tedious. The rest however is great, I could really feel the struggle. Also the British acted as delightful **nts.

No idea why this is listed as action.

I am inclined to agree with punchingseagulls. Also thought of the Bicycle Thief being a better option.

Love the list. Been missing an all out action list, spent many hours looking for 80s/90s action movies that where also on a list.

Definitely better than a 5.2 rating. Entertaining mystery/thriller, worth a watch!

From a pure action standpoint it's okay, even from a story-line one. Decent effects, decent fights (albeit I can imagine that the longevity of them is not appreciated by all). On those premises:

Jack Lemmon is such a likable, witty and fantastic actor. The dialogue and the way the characters evolve along with the amount of fleshing out of the plot, amazing. Really liked him in Some like it hot as well, I'm happy he got the chance at a full-fledged main character.

Wow, that ending.

This was my first encounter of Charles Laughton and I thought he was absolutely brilliant. A fantastic mix of cockiness due to his brilliance and his general attitude was certainly enjoyable.

Love the little extra announcement five or so seconds prior to the complete ending!

The dialogue between the characters was fantastic, the plot great but left something to be desired; can't put a finger on it though... a bit rushed perhaps.

Basically Olympus has fallen 2, pure action film, and for that purpose it's an okay film. For Tatum I guess it's okay, for Foxx, Gyllenhaal, Jenkins and Woods I have no idea how they could read the script and say "this looks like a decent film I want to be associated with". Except the paycheck.

Fantastic Chaplin film! The child is adorable and the film as a whole is fun and heartwarming. 8.5/10

Didn't age well imo, solid story line but didn't produce the nail-biting suspense others seem to have enjoyed. 6/10

In Time meets Gattaca in a decent albeit bloodier story. Could of been really good but the execution leaves something to be desired. 6.5/10

Decent film! Clever plot, Di Caprio was really good, there where some small holes but overall good watch.

I mostly like Ridley Scott's films and this is one of the ones I had left. Decent action film with Michael Douglas as a semi-dirty cop / lousy husband/family man ending up in Japan due to a case he is working. It's all been done before and the first half of the film is quite a drag but the it picks up in the second and the ending is really good.

6/10 (very few 'pure' action films deserve better imo so this is a high rating for me)

@dyin2live, I agree with (some of) your thoughts, especially regarding the spy-business, definitely leaves something to be desired.

As for the movie, it was descent, providing some feelings of suspense but in my mind there was something missing. It's hard to put a finger on it, perhaps a fleshing out of the spoiler

Not a 2.9 film, but it's not good either. Stay away from it and find a Seagal film instead.

Did anyone else notice that the famous "it's so fluffy" from Despicable Me was borrowed from Lilo & Stitch?

A fun watch, decent enough.

Just about the worst movie I have seen in a while. Sure there's some blood/gore, but it's nowhere close good enough to justify watching the whole thing.

dpanter sums it up brilliantly.

Not good, and I am a huge fan of Snipes and vampires. Save your time and watch something else.

It took me awhile to get around (work up the courage) to watching this, in part due to the comments of Rigters and thatisquisito.

The suspense was the best/worst thing about it, it was like when you are playing a video game (like Resident Evil), the ominous music plays when there's zombies around and stops when you've killed them all. In this however, not only was the soundtrack was chilling but not clues where to be had.

My knowledge of what was commonplace during the 70's is limited, but my guess is that some/most of the content was quite shocking, and still is to some extent. Some things become comical if you're in the wrong mindset, but for the most part the suspense eats away at you.

Not a good movie, it's all been done before in better ways. The plot is too basic, the characters are too shallow and the gimmicky one-liners are awful.

However I am happy for Nicholas Hoult though, who I haven't really seen since About a Boy whose performance was quite decent.
