DeNiro isn't making Casino anymore. I lament with the rest of the world, believe me. But he's good in this. Essentially plays the same character as he did in SLP. So what?
Jennifer Lawrence continues, in my opinion, to carve a similar career path and performance level of my favorite actor of all time, Meryl Streep.
Bradley Cooper is his same greasy, slimy self. But a wonderful actor, nonetheless.
It's a touching story that avoids (most) cliches. I've seen a lot of shitty films this year. Joy is not one of them.
I'm not as knowledgable about the life or politics of MT. So, for me, this film was all about the incredible performance of the great Meryl Streep. Watching her work makes me feel proud and thankful to be alive. She is the Beatles of acting and all of the negative reviews that harshly criticize the film but, without exception, praise her work only proves the point. Worth the watch if only for Meryl Streep.

Great first half. Mediocre second half.Spielberg is a masterful film maker and Bridge of Spies once again proves why. The Coen brothers' script is well written and interesting.
Great acting all around, especially from Hanks as usual.
