This movie requires devotion to conversations and intense attention. I can see the purpose of it - it's about Oppenheimer's life not just creating the bomb. But it still seemed too long although it was historical and interesting.

This was a Marvel movie I was waiting for a long time - no global universe conflict or multiverse problems. Just one definite problem to solve and to solve it well. You empathize with the characters and feel that every member of the group is important. The quality of the action is high, but this is not the main part - action just supports the storytelling and characters. Good work, James Gunn. Best actor nominee may sound strangely but I'd like to give it to the Rocket.
Funny sayings and incidents accompany all the activities as is the trademark of the Guardians.
Can't skip to mention the soundtrack - Radiohead, Beastie Boys, Bruce Springsteen and so on.

And unexpectedly catchy Japanese pop music I have never heard before.
Colorful animation filled with a lot of action, many references to Super Mario videogames.
For children mostly, I don't have any Mario history, so no bonus points too.
In the future I hope to see more top-notch comedy like here in the beginning, when Mario, Luigi and an angry dog meet in a small bathroom.

Welcome to the world filled with magic and mysterious adventures. Through the movie there are many jokes in the right place and with the tone I liked. Clever solutions to different dangerous situations. Chris Pine leads the show, and the movie is worth watching just to see Hugh Grant in the world of fantasy.
Nice effects too like a fat dragon or all shapeshifter transformations, so I hope to see next episode coming.
