Underrated.

Should be on the Best Sequels list. (If anything it's better than the first of the series.)

Hard for me to enjoy this in an unalloyed way in a post-Columbine world.

This just popped up for a limited engagement on FilmStruck. So far it's shockingly frank and dry-eyed about a very difficult topic.

Particularly enjoyed the side trip into North Korea. Leave it to WH to make the most of it.

I was quite surprised at how effective this film was. I've seen my share of disaster movies over the years, and I'd say this ranks among the best. I'll say it... Peter Berg has become a really solid director.

The pure id of marriage.

Wonderful, uncompromising SF. I think this film's reputation will only continue to grow.

I enjoyed this. I'm always looking for unusual Shakespeare adaptations, and I thought this take on Othello was quite rewarding. Getting to see Dave Brubeck and Charles Mingus play together was a nice bonus.

Solid, with moments of real excellence, but not without its flaws.

I'll echo an earlier comment... no lists for Training Day?

Not even a big thriller list?

Where's the love?

Do not waste your time with the Barco Escape format. The angles the "wing" screens are set at is quite odd, and there's an inevitable seam that shows where the screens join. I got to see my screening for free... would have been really bummed to a pay a premium price for it.
