Fair enough romantic comedy. Portman is a riot, but the ending is sappy and expected. 7/10

Fantastic effort from Haneke, though not as good as Cache. Brilliant. 9/10

I don't understand the hate. This film was brilliant. The end twist was fantastic, and I wasn't bored for a second. Of course, there are certain elements which let the film down but overall I liked it a lot. 7/10

Quite good, but the end was a bit disappointing. I was expecting more. 7/10

Sofia Coppola's best. The opening shot alone is worth watching the whole movie. Fantastic. 8/10

The opening shot was excellent, and the film had some good scenes, but overall I felt there was a hefty amount lacking. 7/10

A great way to finish a fantastic film career for Bergman. Sven Nykvist's cinematography makes every shot a lush mixture of beauty and colour. An unsurpassed epic of incomprehensible greatness. Although... there were a few 'meh' moments. 9/10

Bergman's best. A fantastic, brutal, chilling, amazing film that must be seen. If you think you know anything about cinema and you haven't seen this film, you are sadly mistaken. 10/10

Feels strange and has an aura of family-friendly movie tense, despite the fact that its subject matter, the cutthroat world of business, is rather adult.

Not as amazing as I expected, but still thoroughly enjoyable and easily one of the top classics. 8/10

Bergman's foray into true bone chilling horror is exactly that -- BONE CHILLING! Not scary in the traditional sense, but an eerie layer of subversive chills lie beneath the calm exterior of this insanity-driven masterpiece. 8/10

Quite a good film. The Coens, as usual, prove that they know their stuff presenting us with this unique gangster flick. 7/10

An awful, pisspoor adaptation of a highly superior book. Disgusting TV movie rubbish. 1/10

Extraordinarily brilliant. Easily the best film of the last ten years, at least. How the Coen brothers won Best Picture over this, I will never know (not that No Country for Old Men was bad, it's just... this was better.) 10/10

A terrific, emotional film. The acting is brilliant, the usage of red.... sublime! This is one of Bergman's best achievements. 9/10

A truly great, defining example of Bergman's work. There is nothing about this film I don't like. A masterpiece. 10/10

Kevin Smith is a genius screenwriter. The dialogue in this film is absolutely hilarious. The conversations between Dante and Randal (and the customers) are pieces of ingenious writing that highlight what I imagine the bore of working at a (super?)market must be like. 8/10

Enjoyable, but I just did not find the donkey f***ing scene funny at all. Gross, sure. But not funny. As usual, the highlights of the film are the long and often hilarious conversations between Dante and Randal. They were what made Clerks a hit, and its what saved Clerks II from oblivion. 6/10

A stunning film. Kieslowski now ranks right up there in my list of best directors. I've been meaning to see The Double Life of Veronique... I must get around to it.

Eastwood's best ever. Amazing. I have still yet to see The Outlaw Josey Wales, which my friend prefers to this.
