High-concept bullshit. It might have a couple of good one-liners and it's mildly entertaining (at best) but I can effortlessly think of 250 better movies.
Also if it wasn't for Elfman's score it wouldn't be half as good.
Basically, I agree with CoffinDancr. The depictions of war and cinematography (and homoerotic undertones) were also great... but ultimately something fell flat. 7/10.

Thanks for the link, SilentWarrior! Although I think you have to install a certain kind of player in order for it to work...
I've heard it said that this movie is better than its predecessor. I tremendously disagree... but then again, I'm not a big fan of James Cameron, with the exception of T2 (which in fact was better than the first)... I dunno... maybe it was all of the added footage in the special edition, but it seemed really plodding... and didn't feel half as good as it should have been; I concur with foxdanger's rating.
The thumbnail avatar for this list looks like the top half of the 1001 movies you must see before you die list... or perhaps the top of the 'Avatar' avatar?
I always feel uncomfortable about watching shorts when IMDb doesn't list the running time because I feel like there's a risk that I might be watching an "edited" version.
the link below has a running time of 8 minutes whereas the full running time on IMDb claims 10. Anyone know if this is accurate and if so, where to find the "full" version?
Better than the Blair Witch Project other than the fact that BWP came first and as such was more innovative. This was pretty innovative itself though, and was truly scary & disturbing. Don't get me wrong. There were plenty of silly and/or stupid moments. The ending was particularly stupid and you can thank Steven Spielberg for that.
I also want to add that I just saw Paranormal Activity 2 and it was terrible.
