The date felt a bit forced as a movie moment,, to create a moment of sadness for Theo. The date went really well and the way it ended did not feel like there was a real reason for her to see him as a weird guy.
Really don’t get all the praise for this film. Mildly interesting drama. There is no real connection built up with Ian, not much character build. The music plays such a small role that it’s mainly in the background of the long dragging drama. Would have loved to see more of the history of the band and music, and how it fits in that specific period in time, instead of a fairly generic drama..
Wonderful! Amazing cinematography (Almost every single every shot is stunning), strange but interesting story and great atmosphere. Did not understand everything, but that's the idea. Eager to read the book now.

The city looks beautiful and it starts of with some fun views of 'the secret life of pets' but quickly falls into the standard good guy bad guy run around the city nonsense..
Felt a bit like the movie Carnage, takes mostly place in a single area and is heavily focused on human interaction.
The movie felt real, had some funny moments, recognisable situations and great tension buildup. Not your average Hollywood comedy but that made it great.
Have not enjoyed myself in the cinema like this in a long time. Pure fun! Great action scenes which are beautifully choreographed and in which you can actually see what is happening. Lot's of humor and overall a great 'old school' James Bond like spy movie in a new coat of paint. Awesome!
I don't understand how this movie is the lowest rated Wes Anderson movie at Rottentomatoes! To me this is the best one, together with Grand Budapest Hotel and Royal Tenenbaums.
That while The Fantastic Mr Fox was rated very high while I thought that's his worst movie...
