Pulls you in right from the get-go, starts to lose you about half-way through but then draws you in again by introducing Chris Pratt and Joel Edgerton's characters at the half-way mark. Great war film, and a sleek thriller but even more than that, lets you see and experience the measure's the U.S had to take and the losses that they had to go through.
Watched the first season of this after finishing the four original movies and although I was sad to lose Gibson and Glover, these new two guys are on par if not higher.
I gotta admit, the first half of this was some of the most boring film I've ever watched, but after I'd fallen asleep, woken up again, grabbed something to eat, gone to the bathroom and relaxed back into my bed to sleep through the other half of the movie, I somehow found myself watching some of the best film I ever have. The characters actually started to shine, the plot started to heat up and the action scenes were simply amazing. A real pity they had to chuck the first half in there.
Surprisingly enjoyed it. Managed to almost flawlessly pull off a perfect blend of sci-fi, drama, romance and adventure. Sure it could've been a bit more of a thriller, but for what it was, awesome film.
Purging violence by using a whole lot of violence? The story itself makes no sense and add to that characters you don't care about, scenes upon scenes of boring dialogue and an overall darkness to the film as a whole, Assassin's Creed is easily the worst film of this whole year. That one parkour scene was pretty dope though.
Really wasn't a bad sequel. A good follow-up but gets a little too graphic in some parts for my taste and strays away from a lot of the humor that made the first film a classic.
Awesome movie! For people who don't understand the ending:
The Blair Witch isn't real. The beings that actually occupy the house are aliens. When Heather and co. go into the forest and near the house they become stuck in the alien's time-loop until the aliens can trap them in the house and take them away for testing.
A great third film that manages to keep the same originality as its predecessors plus adding a little bit of its own, these just keep getting better and better.
Yeah....nah. Really wanted to like this but it felt too long and too drawn out for my liking. Sure, an awesome performance by Tom Hanks, but that doesn't make the movie.
I usually really don't enjoy true story films. I mean, sure they're portraying something incredible that people need to see, but I feel like most aren't done too well. But when you get an amazing director and an even more amazing collective group of actors together you get something like Spotlight, something that really opens your eyes and defines the true-story genre.
Quite terrible by today's standards actually, but when you see past the bad special effects and even worse acting, it actually becomes quite an enjoyable and well-made student film.

I actually really liked it. A fresh take on the found-footage genre and a change from the cliché horror films we're getting nowadays. Feels like everyone is just hating on it because of who directed it, and I happen to really like M. Night Shyamalan.Movie comment on Nerve

Thought I might finally give this franchise a shot but right from the get-go we're thrown into a cliché romance, cheesy acting and all in all a terrible script, plot and execution. May be okay if you like cars, but I don't like cars.Movie comment on Lethal Weapon 2
