Criminally underrated. As badblokebob wrote below, I can only assume this had a lukewarm reception due to the mislabelling. It's an incredibly strange, at times very disturbing film. Very well made indeed.
Didn't get this one at all. The advancement of plot was about as clunky as it gets. Numerous incredulous details really took me out of this.
I'm willing to go out on a limb and say the subtitles may have been out of whack (though I didn't get that impression), so that MIGHT be the reason why this didn't grip me.
Very solid. Like Hunziker said, if you're a fan of El secreto de sus ojos, El Aura, El Club, and others of a similar atmosphere, then you'll definitely dig this.
Also, the girl's father, at least in some scenes, is a dead ringer for Anthony Quinn.
