I have to disagree with CSSCHNEIDER. I feel like the script was very concise and not overly saturated. Very powerful and moving film which full-on tackles several problems in American culture: racism, police brutality, the war on drugs, etc.
Some true beauty captured here, loosely stitched together. Unfortunately, the whole thing is very busy and not accommodating to quietude (such as was done with Koyaanisqatsi). Ultimately interesting but also a nuisance.
It's now on TPB but it's not worth the time (and I still think it's a massive trolling). Only watched it because I was curious about the title and didn't get anything more provocative than that, despite some base efforts.
Even if you don't like his films (which I can understand, but as a movie buff I cannot comprehend), Richard Linklater has an impeccable taste in music.
