Average, felt too obvious who the alien was and the CGI just made the horror/graphic scenes seem empty, especially in comparison; Just makes you appreciate how amazing Carpenter's version is.
Much better than the Friday the 13th remake, that's for sure. It was all going mostly well until the last 30 mins or so, don't like how Freddy now likes to continuously slam people against things and make them do crazy flips. Considering how much stuff can be done with the character, I would have liked to have seen more of his transformations/manipulations, maybe in the sequel perhaps. Good use of that old song though. And it shouldn't have tried many of the slight comic lines in there, like the rehashing of the wet dream line, but with less sense to it than when it was originally used. I prefer Robert. Easily.
Ben Stiller has some funny lines, but apart from that, this is horribly generic and crap..."LOL asians.....LOL nerds....LOL ugly woman....LOL attractive woman who at first seems weak and innocent put is revealed to be tough and can hold her own!!!!"
Good acting from Xavier and Magneto. First half is goooooood stuff, second half ruined by generic shiz and crappy side-mutants. Beast looks so laughable and crap, cross eyed prick.
