A wonderful documentary about a man who decided to care for a flock of wild parrots in San Francisco.

This is my first Russian film, and the settings and costumes are good, but I am disappointed with the acting. Much of it seems too fake and contrived.

Glenn Close is FAR TOO OLD here for the part; it's ridiculous. Nellie is supposed to be about 23; Close was 50+.

Am I the only one to be creeped- out by the puppy? Amazing performance by 5-year-old Brigitte !

Being female, I don't understand the difference between the left and right testicle, but, hey, whatever; there are some nice moments connected by a lot of mumbo-jumbo and some major plot holes, but I don't hate it.

Zero Mostel steals every scene he is in!

Jeff Bridges does a great acting job, but he is so unlikeable that it is hard to like the film. The director is a little too hung up on sexual positions.

Multicultural Sexy Roman Adventure Squad try to save the boy Roman Emperor; Colin Firth just looks a little bored and dissatisfied.

Very uncomfortable with the scene where the 8-year-old comes into the room where Mom is doing the horizontal mambo (very vigorously) with a stranger. ick

I love Dame Helen Mirren. This tv movie is better than most of them, mostly because of her.

Nice bit of casting here, but I really dislike Glass (seen in the Special Features 60 Minutes interview).

The real star in this movie is the house, which was constructed for this movie and is for sale for $4.5 million.

Very lavish production, which fits the court of Louis XIV. The director chose a non-actor for the king's part, and it shows; he reads his lines and seems wooden at times. It is very good for television.

The chemistry between two of our generation's greatest actors is there, but they aren't given enough to do. There are no memorable lines.

I am old enough to remember driving cars without the intermittent wiper, and I think it's a technical marvel. I didn't know that its inventor had been cheated out of his patent by Ford, and others. Greg Kinnear gives a good performance here and the film, while not perfect, is interesting. From the 14+ million of us driving cars today, I thank Dr. Kearns.
