I am claiming this tick for seeing the German dubbed version 'In der roten Holle'.. and it included the 'censored' ending.

Better than most slasher movies, and much better than most slasher spoof / comedy renditions, and hugely better than many in the TSZDT 1000..
OK, nothing really new, but good fun

We should be due the next one soon ... All the Brexit stuff.. will polarise the participants more than anything .. Tony, will, of course, be a strident leave supporter I predict..

'Carol, we would very much like another Third man.. give it a shot will you?'
Well, he tries, he tries very hard.. there are tricks, shots, ideas that are re-cycled.. but somehow it just doesn't quite make it. Nearly, at times very nearly, but not quite.
That said, for a film to come even near to being a poor man's Third Man ... Well worth a watch.

In case anyone is interested...The film she is watching, 'crime of passion' can be found here ; (mod-edit: dead link removed)
Not a great film, and, to be honest, not much to do with the plot of Prevenge ( well, it has the main character talking to himself in a dream like state), but well worth a watch, and stars a rather young Claude Rains..

Much more deserving of awards than either Black Panther, and certainly a lot more than Green Book.

????? This was for real? Loved Thorkel's comment about comparison with a Monty Python sketch..
But I'm off now to weed my garden.

Horror fans may well be a tad disappointed .. This is much more a Euro art film that Ingmar Bergman fans may well enjoy

From the moment I saw the poster I knew it would be bad..
Then the word was it was rubbish, and I decided not to go.
Then I heard is was so bad, it might be good.. But it's not. It's just awful.
It's one saving grace? Somehow they resisted putting a fart gag in. (But that is probably in the deleted scenes dvd extra)

Starts off looking interesting ... but pretty soon you realise that, sorry, but it really is not that good.
On the plus side, it's very short...

My attention kept wandering - wondering, and thus watching to see if the stack of paper was growing or reducing, waiting to see if a spine fell off the cactus, if someone ever had taken a sip of the coffee...

What? OK, it is in the 'seriously weird movies' group, and I'm very tolerant of odd films.. but this??

Eh? So is this now back to what it was a few days ago? So anyone who added some of the new ones, now has those rendered void.. OK, and, as Milena F says, I too put off 'Cutting Moments'.. and some others that looked dire.

Seriously? A list completely changed? Every single film that was on the list now deemed no longer worthy?

I guess I'm pleased I still ended up with 43 of the list ticked and only went from Platinum to silver...

Is Marco's link (and a couple of other videos on youtube), the full thing? On here it is listed as a 1 min film .. all clips I can find are around 18 mins.

A grueling watch.

You may be aware a prequel to 'Custody' is out there. Called Avant que de tout perdre, it is a 30 min short - same actors, director etc. Made (about) 4 or 5 years previously it covers events previous to Custody.

Now this sounds a bit counter intuitive, but if you plan to see both (and you should), it is recomended you see this film first, as there is quite a lot of valuable tension in this film that would be spoiled if you saw 'Avant que de tout perdre' first.
