Not sure how they haven't been done for plagiarism. The monster is identical to the clickers from The Last of Us. They even click, which was an aspect of TLOU design which was completely unrelated to the fungus aspect. This indicates just straight up copying and a real lack of creativity.

Agree with the comments about DeHaan. The movie isn't as terrible people are making out though.If you're a fan of all that French sci-fi stuff from the 70's, like Fantastic Planet, then look no further.
