Despite the great cast and some great war scenes, can this film not live up to its predecessor “Zulu 1964”. The main reason, that we don`t really care that much for the characters, because there are so many and little time devoted to them, as many war films suffers from. Also if you don´t know that much about the historical event, then you might be a bit lost in what is going on, and perhaps they could have focus a bit more on the Zulu, and why they were formidable warriors. That doesn’t mean that this a bad film, it is still a great cast and well enough directed movie, with some good action scenes, so if you like history and the Film “Zulu” this is worth a watch.
