Very rushed. I wasn't a big fan of Sally Hawkins' Anne, which is probably in part because the story moved so quickly that her character wasn't properly established and just came off as annoying. The film also solely focused on her relationship with Wentworth and missed out on all the other characters, relationships, and family drama that I loved in the book. And what was up with the bizarre POV camera technique?

RPJ and Anthony Head gave really solid performances though.

Honestly, Annie was very relatable.

Not nearly as bad as it's made out to be.

Loved everything about it, even the somewhat campy werewolves. Dunno how some could find it boring at all.

This should've really been a mini tv series, not a film. Based on the structure and the plot, it actually looks like a mini series that's been cramped into 2 hours with parts that have been skipped in the process. There's a lot happening and not everything makes sense or is explored as much as it ought to be. The romance between Gregoire and Marianne is ridiculous, the relationship between Mani and the other girl isn't explored at all (I don't mean romantically, but in general. Who was she? What was the point of her character?), and the list goes on and on. The biggest problem for me, however, was the main protagonist. There were so many interesting characters that were left in the sidelines and whose storylines could've been better developed instead of Gregoire's who was basically a boring and annoying a-hole.

Lastly, if you want to watch this because you think it's going to be a horror film, don't. If you want to see Cassel and Belluci, do - their characters were wonderful.

How is this not in any official top list?
Delightful.

The last film John Dillinger saw before he was gunned down.

I normally like Dominic Cooper (quite a lot) but his acting in this one was laughably bad.

I had written a ridiculously long critique on this film before my browser crashed, but, to put it simply, City of Bones was not good in any way, and if I were involved in the casting of the leads, the screenwriting or the directing, I would be ashamed to show my head in public ever again.

Not even the fast cars and Luke Evans' magnificent physique could save this movie. Maybe if there had been less scantily clad women and more scantily clad Luke Evans it would have been better, but I doubt it.

Visually stunning. The opening credits were mesmerizing. The ending was quite weak though and reminded me too much of Alien.

Probably the most boring western I've seen. What a disappointment, because I loved Stagecoach and expected this one to be just as good. Fonda's character is incredibly irritating.

They completely ruined the ending. They should have stopped at the scene in which the guns were triggered.
