A lot of parts made me remember the good old times. Some old jokes came up too. But there were somethings that showed the writers were kind of out of touch and just used certain things to be weird.
Nicolas cage playing old cage with the 1990s personality but with bad acting. He gets to have arc with a mother and daughter and it is awkward. But the editing and the dialogue is the icing on the cake for weirdness.
Brett Gelman was the best thing about the movie. He has a unique comedic feel to him. The rest of the movie was just ok and something you can play int he background while cooking.
Interesting take on the whole Ground Hog Day theme. Too bad they hired some really stupid people to act in it. "Hi do you want to be in a movie?" "Sure but I don't know how to act!" "Oh it's ok, you're hot".
