Love it. Great concept of how a time machine might work. The premise is typical of time travel stories, but it's executed so amazingly that it doesn't matter.
Plus, it's a sci-fi movie starring a middle-aged spaniard
Used to be obsessed with this movie. Saw it like a million times, collected stickers and Looney Tune tazos, had a bunch of toys (that broke super easily).
Saw it again as an adult, not sure whether it's bad or not. The comedy doesn't quite hold up compared to the classic cartoons, but it's such a weird movie that it just doesn't matter. The best part is how all the humans just accepts everything that happens, no matter how bizarre.
Not as good as the first movie, and even more noticably nationalistic, but still pretty fun, and the fights are just as awesome. I'm not usually a fan of nationalism at all, but for some reason it's a really interesting aspect of these movies. I also don't really have anything against colonialist Brits being portrayed as bastards. Those people were scum.
The fights are spectacular enough to make this movie great, despite a lot of over-the-top music scoring and drama. It's still a really compelling movie, though.
I didn't see this movie until I was well into my twenties, and of course I'd seen it parodied a million times by then, I'd heard people talk and talk about what a great movie it was. But this is one of those movies that live up to the hype. Even though pop culture had taught me everything there was to know about this movie, I was still moved by it, I was still impressed. I understand why it's such a classic. Masterful movie.
This is a great movie, but for me it became even better after seeing the DVD extras and learning about all the work and thought that went into making it. As good as it is, I think the real beauty of this movie is the craft of it.

Like Oldboy and that one episode of South Park, a tale of revenge so twisted that it's fascinating. I enjoy that kind of narrative.Movie comment on Los cronocrÃmenes
