This movie is great! Everyone should order a pizza. Get your favorite beverage (alcoholic or fizzy and sugary or both!) and enjoy this wild ride!

One of the worst studio pictures of the 90s.

Easily one of the best films of the year. A beautifully crafted film in every respect.

This is worth watching for the Carter Burwell score and Kimberly Foster's platinum blonde pixie cut. Her hair is a work of art in this film.

A masterpiece. A beautiful film made with real heart and soul. As for Joe, he's losing his sole.

The trailers make this look like the inevitably mediocre sequel to the surprisingly strong previous film. Instead it's the miracle film that proves that sequels don't have to be dumb or even predictable. It follows the beats of a Rocky sequel but manages to do so in surprising and interesting ways all the while allowing the film to unfold and become a rather thoughtful and intense drama that happens to feature three boxing matches. The script is excellent and the direction is patient and methodical in ways I wish any and all sequels to beloved properties could be. This might be my second favorite Rocky film.

At the end of the year, if you read a Best of 2018 list that this doesn't appear on, you can discount that list as uninformed and pointless.

I just revisited this for the first time in 19 years. When I first watched it I deemed it one of the worst movies ever made. It's not, but it's so dumb. What a terrible movie. Very little drive and the ending is so unsatisfying. I don't hate it, I just hate that it's liked. It's not a good movie.

I was not prepared for how good this film would be. Instead of writing a long and terribly worded treatise on why it's so good please, just go see this movie.

It's so interesting reading how disappointed people were or how unsatisfied they felt at the end. I think West delivers a tight little movie with good scares keeping it simple. It's a great lesson in restraint. Actually, my only complaint is that I wish there was a touch more and he didn't show the SFX ghost woman till the very end, but it's a minor complaint as the film's pretty dang good.

This is one of the most mean spirited and ugly movies I've seen. On top of that it's full of more idiotic cliches than almost any film in the franchise. It's like a Spencer's gifts as a movie.

Sharon Mitchell is hypnotic, electric and magnetic. She's trouble and troubled. And she's stunning. It's hard to separate fact from fiction in this docudrama, but one thing is for certain, Mitchell delivers a performance that should have launched her career into the mainstream and her lover Tigr is relatable as a person so blinded by this cult of personality that we all are overwhelmed by from the moment Sharon appears on screen. What's worse is that Mitchell is so transparently manipulative that it makes her performance so much more powerful by how cool she is, how easily the camera is drawn to her and how we don't care that she's manipulating us. We just want to watch.

This isn't a good movie, but it's so much better than the previous film and contains some really stellar direction. Yup, bad movies can have good direction.

This is among the most charming films I've ever seen. A proper Disney Classic that I'm sad it took me 35 years to see.

Of all the BFI/Creative England funded, handheld Northern British grey and rainy depressing neorealist films, God's Own Country is among the best.

This film did not for for me at all. Overly reverse engineered, childish claptrap. This is not good screenwriting, this is something else entirely.
