Tall John, June, and Jason sent me here. This movie is baffling, clearly a vanity project, but it has a strange ability to transfix a la The Room. Worth checking out only for hardcore, experienced watchers of bad movies.
Having recently contacted the Library of Congress to see if I could see a copy of the film, I can confirm that they do not have a copy of the film as it appears on the National Film Registry (i.e. not incorporated in the Falkenau documentary) available for any sort of public viewing. This means that the film is incredibly rare and likely only able to be viewed in the collections of a single, individual, and as-of-yet unknown library.

What an unexpected treat! Certainly not perfect, but engaging and creative enough. A fun 80s-horror guilty pleasure. I have a sense that it was a major influence on Stranger Things...
It's goofier than hell, trying to be current with the latest trends (the brother in the van is clearly styled after Eddie Murphy, and the punk girl seems like she's really into The Cure and Oingo Boingo) and the ending twist doesn't make a lick of sense. But I was never really that bored...?
"How Did This Get Made?" sent me here. Easily one of the cringiest, weirdest, badly-aged movies ever made. Like a lot of so-bad-they're-good movies, it's capitalizing on recent successes. In this case, it's The Mighty Ducks, just substitute Rodney for Emilio and mostly-boys' hockey to mostly-girls' soccer. It's so awkwardly paced and poorly written. Things just sort of happen, and the movie never pauses for you catch up. You'll laugh. You'll cringe. You'll gasp. You'll cringe some more. Only EVER even attempt to watch in an altered state (drunk, high, whatever's your thing).
In response to the Turkish comedies no one has seen making the list of the best movies of the 1970s, can icheckmovies follow the same rules IMDb does about how 20,000 votes are needed to be considered in a top list?
Can someone please explain why so many entries of an obscure Turkish comedy series exists in this list? Many of us use icheckmovies to gather recommendations, and having so many of a film series no one has seen or heard about over films from the 1970s whose impact on popular culture cannot even begin to be quantified ruins the integrity of the list and of this website.
