Strong but too long; the first time I dozed off at the cinema, likewise the person next to me.
Nonetheless, brilliant performance by Lily Gladstone and Jesse Plemons.

PS what the hell, does John Lithgow not age at all?

A gripping pleasant surprise. The characters and storyline feels like it's straight from Grand Theft Auto.

Guilty pleasure for Chucky fans, but pretty lazy writing considering the oftentimes nonsensical plot.

Misanthropy Now should've lasted six hours but with a proper story.

The strength of Janghwa, Hongryeon lies in it's climax, not the crescendo. But my goodness what a climax it was.

Le Bonheur brilliantly exposes an imaginary contrast between the ultimate Stoic and the ultimate Hedonist—because death is not in his control the Stoic does not suffer, because he revels in polyamory the Hedonist does not suffer. In theory the former should represent virtue, the latter vice, but in reality the entire thing felt ugly because a natural life follows a sine wave, the distinction of happiness necessitates sadness. Similar to Trainspotting's “Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?”, the protagonist is escaping reality on a chemical as well.

The depth and intricacies of all the characters had to be spread way too thin to fit within three hours. The result was a boring mangled build-up towards the Trinity test, and then some.

To those really intrigued by the subject, watch the 1980 Oppenheimer biopic. It lasts seven hours, but it is more captivating and enlightening.

The negative reviews are a satisfying read though: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/oppenheimer_2023/reviews?sort=rotten

The first time I saw Summer School I was about fourteen and got a belly ache from laughing so much. It's been twenty years, and I must say this film ages really well.

Looked promising until the annoying songs. I mean, imagine someone explaining stuff like that in real life, how annoying everyone would think that person is. So, why do it in a documentary?

Failed to live up to its potential in criticizing our ridiculous negligence of our habitat and our response to climate change. Despite that, and many inconsistencies throughout, it still feels genuine-made and entertaining. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it's okay when arbitrarily watching a film.

PS As others have said before me, when given a choice, watch Trolljegeren instead.

South Park made a parody of Lord of the Rings, but they won't for The Rings of Power for it is mere franchise rife with trite writing, suspense for the heck of it, and political correctness.
It is, however, entertainment junkfood, good to watch while on a date. Don't worry about missing anything if you end up having sex instead, for that is way more compelling.
