agree with Monty - can't fault the swooping soaring photography - it is beautiful eye candy - obviously a Disney piece - but there is nothing "special" or "creative" enough about this short travelogue piece, in my eyes, to earn it a place on any "best of" list . . .
To me, this film is a masterful exploration of not only the meaning of film but of the marriage of film and sound. Don't understand why it is so overlooked - on no "official" lists - but now it is on mine!
This film should be required viewing as an example of how to construct the most and best a film can offer with a minimum amount of waste - there is not a wasted scene or unnecessary word of dialogue in it - a true econony of artistic filmmaking!
