Has one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen. Takes awhile to set it up, and it's definitely worth waiting for it. Enjoyed being a theater full of people laughing hilariously!
Amazing performance by Portman, which makes it kind of crazy that I have to say that this was the "worst" of the 6 movies that I got to see at the Philadelphia Film Festival!
Easily becomes my favorite movie of 2016 so far, immediately after viewing. Love Casey Affleck. So many amazing performances, poignant thoughts about grief, beautiful shots of scenery. Want to watch it again soon! Thank you Philly Film Festival for bringing this to us about a month early!!
Incredible acting and a solidly written script (solid like all the concrete references in the movie) make for a surprisingly absorbing watch, especially given the bizarre premise.
I saw the play of this in England, with my mom, before I saw the movie. The acting by all the main characters is excellent, and it's very atmospheric, especially the end.
Spike Lee's first movie, and one of my very favorite movies, possibly mainly for nostalgic reasons (I loved it when it came out, but I haven't seen it again since then).

I liked the music. Pretty good acting. Predictable story. The best thing about this movie, to me, was Woody Harrelson, and he wasn't in it enough.Movie comment on Quand on a 17 ans

Although very well-acted, it's not necessary to see in a theater. Definitely not a typical Tim Burton movie.Movie comment on The Tree of Life
